Two videos posted to YouTube by a user called WhyRUrKidsSoStupid paint a negative portrait of Covington Independent Public Schools while accusing the City's taxpayers of being fools for tolerating it. "So why is that Covington gets more money... and yet graduates the most illiterate, most uneducated, most ignorant kids in the state," one video asks. The second video is a follow-up featuring feedback for the first one. Check them out and weigh in.
I made a point to note that the district has always treated my son with respect and compassion and that he, as a freshman, has an English MAP score of 245 and a math score of 275. Hardly stupid.
