With the filing deadline looming tomorrow, so far there are two candidates for Covington Mayor and six candidates for Covington Commission.
MAYOR'S RACE
Sherry Carran (Currently a City Commissioner)
Steve Casper (Currently a City Commissioner)
SEE: Early preview of that race here: Two Commissioners Vie for Covington Mayor

If only Carran and Casper file for the Mayor's race then there will be no primary in May. If a third or any other subsequent candidate enters, then there will be a mayoral primary in May.

Four will be elected. If no more than eight filed to run there will be no primary in May, but if there are more than eight candidates there will be a primary to whittle the field to eight for the November election.
