INTERESTINGLY, MISSING COVINGTON GIRL PAIGE JOHNSON IS FEATURED IN A POST ON THE CONTROVERSIAL WEBSITE AS HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY CONTINUE TO SEEK HELP IN FINDING HER.
Nik, since your website is so popular and attracts so many audiences, I was wondering if you could help us out. My friend, Paige Valissa Johnson, went missing last year. Here is the headline: Johnson, a 17-year-old from Florence, Ky., with a 2-year-old daughter, was last heard from in the early-morning hours of Sept. 23. Police say a 22-year-old acquaintance named Jacob Bumpass claims he dropped her off near the corner of 15th Street and Scott Boulevard in Covington, Ky., at about 1 a.m. No one has seen her since. If anyone has any information that will help us find Paige, PLEASE SPEAK OUT! THIS WEBSITE IS ANONYMOUS AND NOBODY WILL KNOW WHO THE TIP CAME FROM! WE WOULD JUST BE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL IF SOMETHING, ANYTHING, WOULD BRING US CLOSER TO BRINGING HER HOME. HELP HER FRIENDS AND HER FAMILY GET THE CLOSURE THEY’VE BEEN HOPING FOR!The Dirty

Great piece:
Kentuckians love a good story. But when it comes to recording the stories of blacks in the commonwealth, historians have had a lot of catching up to do. Gerald Smith, a University of Kentucky history professor, makes that point in the introduction to a special black-history issue of The Register of the Kentucky Historical Society, which he edited for publication in April.Herald-Leader/Tom Eblen
