COVINGTON OFFICERS AWARDED FOR BRAVERY, MORE
4 Covington Police Officers will be recognized by the Covington Rotary Club at the Radisson tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:15PM. Specialists David Griswold and Brian Wells will be recognized for heroism after extinguishing a suicidal man who lit himself on fire (and nearly lit up an entire gas station). Specialist Justin Bradbury will honored with an award for community service while Lieutenant Jim Donaldson gets an administrator award.

OCCUPY CINCY CONTINUES

Last night, the group began commenting via Facebook that they were receiving citations ($105/each) but that many of them would stay anyway.
The announced headquarters is now Garfield Park and it appears that people plan to continue the occupation indefinitely. This was not just a weekend event.

PUBLIC INPUT SOUGHT FOR RIVERFRONT COMMONS
This is an important, ambitious project spearheaded by the visionaries at Southbank Partners. The Army Corps of Engineers will help explain the feasibility of the massive, $80 million project that would reinvent the way Covington and The River Cities use the riverfront. I will have the meeting covered on Wednesday.
