A building that sat prominently vacant for years at 9th & Main Streets in Mainstrasse now has new life as an apartment building. Three beautifully renovated apartments now fill the once empty shell that even lacked floors. Orleans Development spent the past seven months turning the building from a blight on the neighborhood into the latest treasure in Mainstrasse. Check out the photos below. The only original piece of architecture is the staircase's rail that is believed to be around 120 - 130 years old.

  1. Excellent results! Orleans also has units in my block on W 7th with 1 currently available. Q: Looking at the Housing Quality Standards, it's apparent that these units can definitely meet them & qualify for participation in the "Housing Choice Voucher-Section 8 Program". WOULD THEY!? Or do they also participate in the rampant Discrimination against Low-Income Tenants that violates the City's Human Rights Ordinance and is ignored by City Administration?
