FINALLY, A NATIONAL MUSIC ACT RECOGNIZES COVINGTON!
Ah... maybe The River City News's editorial against national music acts that play in Covington but only give shout-outs to Cincinnati, is starting to resonate.

Maybe your kids know who Big Sean is? The hip hop star tweeted Monday night to his 1.1 million followers,
"So my cincinnati show is technically in Kentucky. U know how they right next to each other... So it's at the Madison! In KY! For Cincy!"
Big Sean sent the message after a fan tweeted,
"Um Well To Be Correct For Ppl Lookin For @BigSean Tix For The Nati The Concert Is In Ky Nt The Nati Its At The Madison"
Maybe the fan read our complaint from last week when Covington was ignored by Hot Chelle Rae and other national acts performing at the Madison. They all gave shout-outs online to Cincinnati.

OOH! LET'S SHOP FOR COVINGTON ON eBAY!
Good news folks... The piece of blighted Covington property that we told you about last week is still available on eBay. So what are you waiting for? 11 days left...

But if you're not in the market for a boarded-up corner lot... let's take a look at what else is for sale from Covington on eBay:

Remember when you could actually eat at the Mike Fink?

Me neither. But the once fabulous riverboat restaurant has an old menu for sale on eBay. Someone in Dallas got their hands on this circa 1970s 4-page menu from the Mike Fink (jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer was just $1.40!). The bidding ends early this morning (9AM-ish)so hurry... the current asking price is $28.00.

Meet me at the hotel, hotel, Holiday Inn!
A pretty cool old key from the Riverfront Holiday Inn in Covington going for the low price of $5.99 + shipping. No details on the year, but check it out and see if you can remember when hotel keys looked like this: Holiday Inn Key @ eBay
