There are still just two candidates for Mayor but as of 3:00PM with just one hour left to file for the race, there are nine candidates seeking a seat on the Covington City Commission, including a former commissioner.

The three newly named candidates are:

Roger Hamilton

-South Covington

Greg Paeth

-Old Seminary Square

|

Mildred Rains

-Monte Casino

*Rains was appointed to the commission in 2009 to replace Steve Megerle, but she lost the seat in the 2010 election.

Commissioners Sherry Carran and Steve Casper are the only candidates at this moment for Covington Mayor.
