ARTISAN ENTERPRISE CENTER BUILDING FOR SALE
Covington's arts organization will however be able to remain as a tnant if the building sells:
The then-vacant property’s renovation was aided by $450,000 from the state. KKG bought the two-story, 20,000-square-foot building from a Covington businesswoman in 2007 and moved in alongside the city’s artisans’ center at 25 W. Seventh St. Under terms of the agreement with the state and the city, Covington has a 20-year rent-free lease.

SEE ALSO: Cincinnati-based Recycled Doggies draws your attention to the story of these two older dachshunds in need of a forever home:

Meet Cody and Freddie, both senior long-haired dachshunds. A Recycled Doggies foster mom literally saved Freddie and Cody's lives. Their "owner" and the kids in the family were beating them with sticks in a backyard in her neighborhood, apparently because one stole a corn dog from a child in the family. Our foster mom asked the man if he wanted the dogs and he said no. The wife tearfully surrendered them to our foster mom saying they deserve a better life. It turns out that the father has a terminal illness affecting his brain and the family is in crisis, so we are very sad for the family but thankful to our foster mom for stepping up and speaking up for these cuties, and thankful that the family recognized that they couldn't care for the dogs anymore. They are safe now (no apparentl injuries) and will be ready for adoption as soon as they are fully vetted. Contact us at recycleddoggies@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting either Cody or Freddie.
