DUMPING AFFECTING BANKLICK CREEK AND NEARBY PROPERTIES
What a mess:
“See the mountain of concrete?” he asks, pointing to a pile of concrete chunks that is dozens of feet tall and dozens of feet wide, which stands between a house where he sometimes resides and Richardson Road. “This is not just a couple of loads,” he says. “This is hundreds, and hundreds of loads. ... You just don’t realize the enormity of this pile.”

4TH DISTRICT RACE HEATING UP

First, an ad that ran during the UK/UofL game may run again during tonight's title game between UK & Kansas. Candidate Thomas Massie, the Lewis County Judge-Executive, says that while Davis did not endorse the ad, there was a message left for the retiring Congressman explaining that an ad would be running that featured comments by Davis about Massie:
Massie produced a copy of his cell phone records for Pure Politics to review showing a two-minute call to Davis’ cell phone at 10:50 a.m. on Friday. “I said, ‘Congressman, we have produced an ad that uses the CSPAN footage, and I just wanted to let you know,” Massie said Monday morning.
Massie wouldn't say if he has spoken to Davis since the ad aired or whether the ad would for sure run tonight.

Meanwhile, two other GOP candidates hoping to replace Davis are sparring. Boone Co. Judge-Executive Gary Moore wants to know why State Rep. Alecia Webb-Edgington missed important votes in Frankfort last week to raise campaign cash in DC:
“It’s unfortunate that Rep. Webb-Edgington found it more pertinent to campaign in Washington D.C. and in Shelbyville raising money, rather than to do the job the people elected her to do in Frankfort,” Moore’s statement said. “Rep. Webb-Edgington not only missed critical votes during one of the most crucial times in the Kentucky legislative session but most importantly she missed voicing the concerns and interests for her constituents.”

OH, THE THINGS YOU CAN BUY FROM PEOPLE IN COVINGTON
Anybody in the market for a wine bottle covered in marijuana roach papers? Someone in Covington is selling such a thing on Craigslist
This is a wine bottle I personally coated in old marijuana roach papers, 2,600 in total. Very unique, one of a kind. 4in. x 14.5in, cork included (also papered).
They want $400 for it. Wonder what they'll use the money for...
